Why a mobile app?
One of the core goals of OpenPiste is reducing costs. A mobile app as the primary remote control means clubs do not need to purchase dedicated hardware — the device referees already carry in their pocket becomes the controller.
For situations where a dedicated physical controller is preferred, the hardware remote is available as an alternative.
